BEST 2.0 (Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in European Overseas Territories) is a program funded by the European Commission (DG DEVCO) in the framework of the B4Life initiative, supporting European Overseas Countries and Territories located in 7 regions of global importance. The program organizes calls for projects (small - 50k to 100k€ - and medium - 100k to 400k€ - grant) to finance field actions at the local and regional level aimed at promoting biodiversity conservation, sustainable use of natural resources and ecosystem services as well as climate change adaptation and mitigation.

The European Commission has delegated the implementation of this funding mechanism to a consortium led by IUCN International and composed of a network of partner organizations located in each of the 7 regions identified to accompany and support the selected project leaders. The SPAW-RAC is responsible for the Caribbean region since 2015.
